Details of the July Saunters are now on the Saunters group page. (21/6/22)

The Council are setting up a steering group to consider plans for the Clair Hall site and have extended the licence for it to be used as a vaccination centre until February 2024. To view the press release for either of these items please go to the Clair Hall post here.

There is now a Debating Group. The first meeting takes place on 1st March at 10am in the Methodist Church hall. The debate is entitled 'This House believes that freedom of public expression needs to be further limited'. For more details on the group please see the Debating Group page.

A new walking group, Nature Walks, has been created, led by Peter Lovett. To explain the difference between this group and the existing Walks group please see the u3a Walks post below or here.

The Choir Group has been reformed. For details of how to join please see the Choir group page.

Scammers keep trying new ways to trick people into giving them money. A recent one involved u3as being targetted, with some losing money, details here. Your Chairman and Treasurer are staying vigilant and have spotted every scam before there was any chance of money being lost.
