BOP Consulting have been appointed by the Council to oversee the next phase of the Clair Hall project. See the press release here. (30/4/22)

The Council has extended the licence for the use of Clair Hall as a vaccination centre until February 2024 - view the press release here. (11/3/22)

Also in March the Council announced that a new consultation on the future of Clair Hall will take place during the summer months of 2021. The Haywards Heath u3a will be involved in this. Press release here.

A further press release in March 2021 announced the hall could stay open until September 2021 for vaccinations - press release here.

The Council then reconsidered in February 2021 and reopened Clair Hall as a vaccination centre until May 2021 - press release here.

The Council replied in November saying Coronavirus and the Council's financial position had led to the decision to close - letter here.

The u3a Chairman wrote a letter to Mid Sussex District Council in September 2020 against the planned closure of Clair Hall. The letter can be viewed here.
