SUSSEX U3A NETWORK (SUN)
SUN is an organisation to which all Sussex U3A’s belong. Representatives from all Sussex U3A’s meet to discuss matters of interest and exchange ideas. It also provides contact with our regional representative on the Third Age Trust committee.
One of the important functions that SUN performs is to organise study days. These are presented by experts in their field and are normally run on Saturdays at various venues in the county.
More information about SUN can be found on-line by clicking here
Programmes and application forms for the Study Days are distributed to U3As at least six weeks before each study day. Please contact your SUN representative Diana Cawdery on 01444 484560 for these or you can download them from our website: www.sussexu3anetwork.org.uk. All study days cost £8 for U3A members and £10 for non-members. Meetings usually start at 9.45 and last until 3.30pm.

Above the Sussex U3A Network is the SE Forum, which exists to do the following
To enable effective co-operation between the Kent, Surrey and Sussex U3A Networks, so that joint activities such as the Chichester University Summer School, the Spring Conference in the Meridian Hall, East Grinstead, occasional seminars on topics of relevance to U3As and workshops for U3A group leaders can be organised for all our members.
To enhance communication with the National Executive Committee of the Third Age Trust through the elected representative for the South East Region.
To provide a forum for debate on Third Age Education and the many advantages, including social welfare benefits, that U3As bring to members.
