The response from the Haywards Heath u3a to the Mid Sussex consultation about the future of Clair Hall has been added to the Clair Hall post below and can be also seen here.

The first Social Meeting of 2021 is announced! It will take place on 9th September at 10:00 in the Wesley Hall at the Methodist Church, Perrymount Road, Haywards Heath. It will feature a talk by Philip Metherell on the Peopling of Britain - where did Britons come from and how did they get here? (It may also feature cake from Dianne Misler)

The Summer 2021 Newsletter is now available here. Among other things it contains details of the Betty Murrell Day to be held on Tuesday 5th October, along with an application form.

Scammers keep trying new ways to trick people into giving them money. A recent one involved u3as being targetted, with some losing money, details here. Your Chairman and Treasurer are staying vigilant and have spotted every scam before there was any chance of money being lost.
