THURSDAY 2.30pm – 4.00pm. Fortnightly.
VENUE – The Methodist Church, Perrymount Road.
This is a small group who meet fortnightly to chat in French about a medley of subjects which happen to interest members on the day e.g. topical events, personal interests, current affairs and issues. Enthusiasm and a willingness to participate are more important than accuracy.
FRENCH (DAY TO DAY) 1
MONDAY 2.30pm -
VENUE – Various private houses.
In this small friendly group, we try to develop conversational and linguistic skills and learn something of the French way of life. We touch on some of the intricacies of French grammar as we read about day to day situations. Listening to CDs, reading and translating from French helps us to improve our vocabulary and increase our confidence in the use of language.
MONDAY 2.30pm -
VENUE – Various private houses.
This group operates in the same way as FRENCH (DAY TO DAY) 1.
