BIRD WATCHING   

 

VARIOUS DAYS

VENUE – Various

 

Our group meets monthly, and we visit various good bird watching venues suggested by members. Lifts are available, and no meeting is ever more than one hour’s drive away, with the walk itself one and a half to two hours long. We aim to start our walks at 10.00am. Lack of experience is no problem - several of our members are very knowledgeable. We share responsibilities where possible.

February, Tuesday 14th - Warnham Nature Reserve, Horsham.

March, Monday 12th - Widewater, Shoreham Harbour.

April, Wednesday 4th - Nymans Woods, Handcross.

April, Monday 30th (extra) - Weir wood Reservoir.

May, Thursday 17th – Woods Mill, Henfield.

June, Monday 11th – Loder Valley reserve, Wakehurst Place.

June, Monday 25th evening 8.30 p.m. – Old Lodge Reserve, Ashdown Forest.

July, Friday 13th – Splash Point (end of Seaford Promenade).

August, Monday 13th – Cissbury Ring.

September, Tuesday 11th Arlington Reservoir.

October, Monday 8th – Newhaven Tide Mills.

November, Wednesday 14th – Blunts Wood, Haywards Heath.

December, Monday 19th - Henfield Downs Link.  Christmas lunch in pub?
